May 5th Webinar: What Can the Administration Do for Immigrants?

whitehouse

Every day that the House delays immigration reform, 1,100 individuals are deported from their families and communities. The Administration has the authority to change deportation policies and provide relief similar to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) for a greater number of our undocumented community members. As people of faith, it is important that we urge all policy makers to do their part to change policies that hurt our immigrant brothers and sisters.

Please join the Interfaith Immigration Coalition for a Webinar on Monday, May 5th at 4 PM EDT about various steps the administration can take and how faith communities and immigrants’ rights groups are calling on President Obama to use his authority to stop the pain of family separation and deportations.

We will also discuss recent films including Who Is Dayani Cristal and how they can be used to educate our communities about the devastating impact of border policies.
